A beautiful mid-century example of a so-called perfume lamp in the shape of a sitting dog.
Made of porcelain, numbered 7491, from Germany. Finished with glass eyes, the light is most visible when switched on. The lamp is in excellent condition and is waiting for a new owner to brighten and refresh their space.
Besides its decorative aspect and lighting, the lamp can also serve as an air freshener, thanks to its pleasant scent. Using a reservoir placed inside the figurine, it is filled with perfumed oil or essential oils. The lamp is turned on, causing the bulb to warm up. This heat from the lamp warms the oil, which then evaporates and releases the scent.
